Miles and Molly have arrived

Here are our two beautiful new ragdoll kittens, Miles and Molly, aged 13 and 16 weeks respectively!  They came to join us today.  Two?  Because we couldn't choose between the girl and the boy - so we came away with both!  Miles is a blue bi-colour and Molly is a seal tortie tabby.

Here they are:

A new lens ...

I have received a new lens for my Nikon camera, and very good it is too! It is a 35 mm prime lens - something I haven't had before, and is nice and fast.  I am hoping it will be better when taking interior/gig photos.  So far at least, I can definitely see the difference!

Here's a few photos from the last few days:

Here's Simon

Here is Simon the cockatiel.  He is a regular grey, aged one.  I rehomed him last week from a private house in Southampton.  He's a funny little character, loves to whistle and sing and chat away at times too.  He is super friendly, but could do with being tamed up some more.

Here he is:

Hermy was VERY interested!

Peter White at The Concorde Club

Last night was a really fun night at the Concorde Club, with Peter White and his band.  This is the third year that I have seen them play; all fantastic musicians, and a great evening was had by a packed enthusiastic audience.  They played for two and a half hours and were really enjoying themselves, as you can probably see from some of the photos!

This is Joe "Bongo" Beckett - he is a world class percussionist - just a shame I couldn't get a decent photo of him
