New member of my family arriving Friday!

There is a new member of my family arriving on Friday - she is a lilac Burmese called Emma (well she is called Emma at the moment, but no one really likes that name - any suggestions???).  She is 2 years old and an ex-breeding queen (like Bella in that respect), and needed a loving home.  My friend is rehoming Emma's sister, a chocolate burmese and the breeder mentioned that Emma,also needed a home and my friend said Emma couldn't want for a better home than with me ... and so I am going to meet her and all being well bring her home on Friday!

RIP Bella

My Beautiful Bella was put to sleep yesterday evening and is now at peace.  She was only 8 years old and is missed hugely.  Love you Bella, will never forget you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Rocket Song - Turin Brakes

Taken last March of a band I really like, Turin Brakes,  at The Brook in Southampton .... great venue! Stumbled across it again today. Rubbish quality and camera work, but you get my drift!!  The drummer, Rob Allum is a top bloke and often pops up for a chat in the evenings - really friendly and down to earth - was quite touched to receive a get well wish from him when I dislocated my shoulder, awww. Guess they are not that well known recently, but I do like them and they write pretty cool lyrics.  Hope they tour again soon!
